Both have extra buttons, Nacon Revolution has 4 buttons(bumpers) underside that you can assign macros with the help of a PC, Razer Raiju has 2 extra buttons(bumpers) in the front near R an L buttons and 2 more buttons(triggers) underside that you can assign on the go.

The Nacon Revolution Pro Controller is a official PS4 controller, like the Razer Raiju, so I'm pretty sure that you don't need to install a driver in PS4, the macro buttons work when you assign single buttons to it, just not the two button combos. I could be wrong but that's what I reckon.

Sony might be able to install them via a firmware update? I think Gaijin would have to write its own PS4 drivers within the War Thunder code and go through Sony QA to support this controllers advanced macro functions. I don't think it is possible for a PS4 end user to install device drivers ad-hoc so to speak due to Sony's security and QA requirements.

What I think we have to bear in mind is that on a PC the device manufactures drivers can be installed by the end user with the software that comes with a device. Personally I don't think PS4 users should have to use non default control peripherals to be able to control all functions in a manageable fashion, however it certainly is easier to do so be it by using an after market keyboard, gaming mouse, joystick or game pad. While us lot are big enough and ugly enough to get around most of the limitations this presents one way or another I do very much worry about the default PS4/DS4 users who never visit the forums.

I too am concerned about the amount of buttons available to DS4 users. Yup a suggestion is the way to go but I will also mention it in our next tech meeting. Will this official PS4 controller and both it's macro keys and 4 different custom profiles have support in this game in the near future? So I really think that those extra buttons and having multiple profiles could really help to minimize the controls disadvantage that we have in this game. I must say that I'm a Playstation player since mid 90s and I really like DS4 controller, but for a game as War Thunder I feel I'm always some buttons short, there's also the fact that the tank controls mess with aircraft controls and we still don't have the ships fully implemented in the game, and we also don't have multiple control presets like other players. The problem is that War Thunder seems to don't recognize the macro buttons cause when I pressed them nothing happens although I've assign basic two button combos to them and set those combos in the game Controls. You have to assign the macros and configure the profiles in a PC but then they are stored in the controller. I just got an official PS4 Nacon Revolution Pro Controller to play War Thunder in mind since it has 4 extra buttons that you can assign macros and 4 custom profiles stored in the controller that you can switch while playing with the press of a button.
